I ♡ to create brands, posters, typefaces, icons, motion graphics, illustrations, prototypes, stories, and whatever else I can fixate on in the moment. I really like to do it all, and I want to be good at everything. Lately that has meant building the things too, instead of designing them and handing them off. This site is one of them.The pixels guyI have always liked icons, video games, UI, and small graphics of that sort. A lot of my projects ended up in that pixel style, or leaning hard on iconography. Then I started actually making pixel art, then I interned at Nintendo, and people started joking that I was the pixels guy. One professor said I was always making “emojis”.

My TattooPart of a Mexica sky band, of the kind carved on the Stone of Tizoc, a sacrificial stone. I pulled a piece of the pattern and redrew it. It splits my left arm in two, which is why I picked it: half my life happened in México and half of it has happened here. It loops the whole way around. It does not end anywhere.
